Catherine has over 9 years of experience in all areas of midwifery practice, having previously specialised in delivery care, homebirth, mental health and community midwifery.

Having obtained a distinction in her MSc in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2008, Catherine joined the Reproductive Health Research Team as a Research Midwife. She has since developed an interest in pre-eclampsia and other placental-mediated conditions, and their long-term cardiovascular consequences for women.
