Dr. Williams is a pediatric interventional cardiologist at Brenner Children’s Hospital –Wake Forest Baptist Health and is an associate professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University. After receiving his D.O. from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Williams completed his training in general pediatrics at Albany Medical College. He completed his general pediatric cardiology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine and his interventional pediatric cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
In 2006, Dr Williams joined Wake Forest Baptist Health-Brenner Children’s Hospital and the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at Wake Forest School of Medicine. His clinical area of expertise involves transcatheter interventional procedures in children and adults with congenital heart disease and treatment of children with pulmonary hypertension. He serves as Director of Pediatric Ambulatory Care and Director of the Congenital Catheterization Laboratory at Brenner Children’s Hospital. He is active in teaching medical students and pediatric residents.
