Symptoms of angina forced 85-year old Ruth Garrett off the tap dance floor and to the sidelines. Her doctor sent her to interventional cardiologist Michael Chen, M.D., who used cardiac catheterization to identify the blockages in her heart and then opened her blocked artery with angioplasty and stenting. The whole procedure was performed through a tiny incision in her wrist. Ruth is back to tap-dancing, smiling again, and an inspiration to everyone around her, including Dr. Chen! Watch as she and Dr. Chen explain how she got her quality of life back.
