Bring a list of questions to ask your doctor about treating and managing your cardiomyopathy.

  1. How will you measure my heart function?
  2. What test(s) are used to diagnose my cardiomyopathy
  3. Is there a chance my heart function improves? Do medicines help?
  4. Am I having or did I have a heart attack?
  5. Have we ruled out a heart attack?
  6. How will I be treated for cardiomyopathy?
  7. How long should I expect my recovery to take?
  8. Is it likely that I could have a repeat occurrence in the future?
  9. Are there lifestyle changes that I should make to manage stress?
